BARNYARD FUN & GAMES
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13th, Starting at 9 am in the Show Barn
Youth 15 & under get free admission to the fairgrounds until 5 pm
Open to all community children between the ages of 4 and 13.
Our Barn Area is full of milk cows, beef cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, and rabbits with a few extra in our petting zoo! We want all of our local children to have a chance to participate in our local agricultural educational programs and hope this will give everyone a chance to experience some of the activities we offer.
- Start your morning participating in our Lamb & Goat Olympics
- Tour the barn area and watch the exhibitors take care of their animals
- Play in the “corn tire”
- Watch Baby Chicks hatch in our Poultry Barn
- Play with our animals in Young McDonald’s Farm
- Play games based on barnyard and farm themes
- Enter contests to win cool prizes
- Find out all the great things our local 4-H program has to offer
- Followed by the Berryville Rascals Puppet Show, Discounted Afternoon Rides, & Children’s Activities in our Horticulture Building
- Then, back to the barn area for the Pretty Animal Contest at 4:30 pm!
