Our Raffle tickets be can bought all week at the Fair Office which is situated under the East Side of our Grandstand
We will be auctioning off a 1/4 Side of Beef at our Auction on Friday night. You will be able to choose your own cuts from Gore’s Meats!!!!!
This Year our 1st Annual Dessert Table will be in Memory of Johnetta Pruitt, 4-H Leader, to show the Ruritans appreciation of her many years of service in our community.
If you have been a buyer or exhibitor through the years; you saw this long time 4-H Leader overseeing our meals. We were blessed to have her for so many years and she mentored many of our community youth in the 4-H program.
Our local clubs will be making desserts for our buyers in honor of Mrs. Pruitt.
Her daughter will be preparing Mrs. Pruitt’s favorite coconut cake which will be on display at our dessert table. We will be selling raffle tickets for it through the week. A winner will be drawn Friday night before the Smooch A Moo to take their coconut cake home!
The Ruritans will be giving all proceeds raised through the dessert table to the Clarke County 4-H Volunteer Leaders Association for their college scholarship program. Mrs. Pruitt supported this program and assisted many high school seniors in receiving it.
